Settings & Profile

The Settings page lets you view your profile information and configure notification preferences.

Profile

Navigate to Settings from the sidebar. The General tab shows your profile details:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Roles — the role(s) your club admin has assigned to you

Profile details are managed by your club administrator. If you need to update your name or email, contact them.

Notification Preferences

Switch to the Notifications tab to configure how you receive alerts.

Browser Push Notifications

Toggle this on to receive push notifications in your browser (or PWA app) even when ClubMS isn’t open:

  1. Click the toggle switch to enable
  2. Your browser will show a permission prompt — click Allow
  3. You’re set! Push notifications will appear on your device

To disable, simply toggle the switch off again.

Email Notification Preferences

Email notification categories are being rolled out soon:

  • Booking Confirmations — when your event bookings are confirmed
  • Event Reminders — before events you’ve booked
  • Donation Receipts — after each successful donation
  • Weekly Digest — a summary of club activity

These email preferences will be configurable individually in an upcoming update.

Security

Your account is protected by:

  • OTP verification — every login requires a 6-digit email code
  • Secure cookies — your session is stored in encrypted httpOnly cookies
  • Automatic expiry — sessions expire after inactivity for your security

Tips for Account Security

  • Use a strong, unique password if you have password login enabled
  • Don’t share your OTP codes with anyone
  • Log out when using a shared or public computer
  • Enable push notifications so you’re alerted about account activity
